So badass in House of 1000 Corpses. URG!
I’ve been kinda all over the place and neglected this site and I’m sorry! Hopefully I can make up for it.
Times have been kinda balanced, some great moments and some shitty ones. Reality throws curveballs constantly and it’s not always easy to adjust for it but then again our ability to adapt is what truly separates humans from other species.
It’s been a long time since my band has played a show, I have no words for how much I miss being on stage. We have some work to do still before we play a comeback show but I assure it’ll be well worth the wait.
I constantly update my instagram and twitter, both @VinLikeNikes, more of an insight to my everyday life.
There was a time when I was young that myself and a group of other kids would be crowded around Street Fighter 2 arcade machines, stacking quarters above to the start buttons to show we had next. If the RE6 announcement happened 2 years ago I would have probably be counting down days until release. Now not so much.
It was shortly after Street Fighter 4 came out where Capcom decided to release Super Street Fighter 4, with a few new characters. This kinda forced people to go out buy a new disc with most of the same content on it. All trophy/Achievement progress gone. Purchasing basically a software update at full retail price of a brand new game. They did this more and more. Resident Evil 5 had a large amount of DLC which a lot of fans purchased, and then roughly 6 months after they finished releasing DLC they put out a version of the game that had ALL that content on it at the same price as the original game. Talk about devaluing content and making people playing the game since it release feel robbed.
They brought their tactics with Street Fighter over to Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, with its downloadable costumes and Shadow Matches. 2 characters at $4.99 A PIECE. About 6-8 months later Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 gets announced. Now this is a series I’ve loved since the X-Men Vs. Street Fighter arcade game, and I haven’t purchased this installment of the series.
Now this locked content on disc tactic they started to use on Street Fighter X Tekken is just gross. What happened to the times where you got bonus content for beating a game? Personally as a gamer truly I miss this. Capcom you’ve really fucked up, and it hurts to say that. I was a huge fan of your work but the past 2 years you’ve punished your fans to the point where the life bar is gone. Nicely done.
